The Health DATA Program is a major public service program of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. The goal of the program is to build the capacity of advocates, organizations, and coalitions to use health research data to address public health policy issues important to the communities they serve.
Health DATA programs are made possible through the generous support of these organizations: The California Endowment, The California Wellness Foundation, Community Technology Foundation of California, Kaiser Permanente, and UCLA in LA.

Health DATA program will conduct two free, hands-on AskCHIS workshop for
staff and volunteers of community-based organizations of Fresno and Sacramento.
Participants will learn how to access public health data online from the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). The workshop will take place from 8:30am to 4:00pm, free parking is provided. Meals are not provided however, dining options are available near the training site.
