Train-the-Trainer is a three-day course to enable representatives of community-based organizations to train staff and volunteers to work with data. Participants learn how to train with the Health DATA Performing a Community Assessment curriculum. Trainers learn how to develop a training plan, use interactive training techniques, conduct community workshops, and evaluate their training.

The course uses a comprehensive curriculum and tools useful to anyone wanting to develop skills around training or conducting community assessments. All materials are available in English and Spanish.

The Performing a Community Assessment Curriculum and Train the Trainer Course were developed under a grant from The California Endowment.
