Preliminary monthly estimates from new questions regarding COVID-19 added to the 2020 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) that include data from all surveys completed across California during the calendar month. Topics covered include COVID-19 treatment, personal and financial impacts of the pandemic, interpersonal conflict in the household during stay-at-home orders, and details on reasons for not having health insurance. Data on these topics are presented at the state level, and can be filtered by numerous demographic and economic characteristics (including age, race/ethnicity, citizenship status, insurance status, income, and others) and health risk factors (asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure).
